We’re looking for a positive and engaging Head Chef to join this high-volume, high-end Gastro Pub in North Gloucestershire. The right Head Chef candidate will have experience running a high-volume, fresh food, seasonal kitchen whilst consistently delivering high standards of food for it’s guests. This establishment first and foremost prides themselves on being a local pub within the community but also have a restaurant that focuses on quality, seasonal produce & weekly specials. As Head Chef, you will lead from the front and have a focus on continually growing and developing your team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and cooking.
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Supervise food production processes to guarantee quality and presentation.
- Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques and hospitality practices.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and optimize service.
